The hotel was a luxurious five-star oasis in the heart of the Dubai desert. Upon entering the restaurant, she felt as though she had stepped back into the world of One Thousand and One Nights, despite the unmistakable futuristic skyline of Dubai visible in the distance through the windows. Magnificent carved wooden screens adorned with arabesque patterns and colorful glass lanterns shimmered, while musicians seated on cushions skillfully played the oud. The attentive waiter decorated her table with delicious amber-colored dates scattered with almonds, alongside an assortment of traditional pastries and confections worthy of a royal banquet.

Each one was a work of art, crafted with pine nuts, pistachios, walnuts, honey, and dried fruits, enhanced by delicate aromas of orange and rose. An Arabic coffee infused with cardamom, served from an ornate coffee pot, was elegantly presented in a traditional gold-adorned glass cup, filling both the air and her heart with the flavors of a timeless Arabian heritage. Dubai, a city of luxury and innovation, has preserved the culinary traditions of its past.
